Yesterday’s bullish session on Wall Street and 17-month high for S&P 500 index, positively affected European markets which rose more than 0.5% on average. Additional impulse came from euro appreciation and better than estimated Q4 earnings from bank Unicredit SpA and fashion & retail company Inditex SA. U.S. futures are also up, driven Federal Reserve pledge to keep interest rates at a record low.

Domestic equity benchmarks added 0.3% on midsession. CROBEX rose to 2,167.5 pts, while blue chip CROBEX10 soared to 1,164.8 pts. Liquidity didn’t this pattern, as regular stock turnover amounted to HRK 5.3 m.

Collecting HRK 1,9 m in turnover T-HT (HTRA ZA) is only millionaire, while its price rose 0.7%. Power trunk producer and montage company Dalekovod (DLKVRA ZA) gained 2.1% on HRK 0.7 m in turnover.

Sugar producer Viro (VIRORA ZA) slipped 0.9%, as investors weren’t impressed with rising Q4 profitability. Q4 revenues almost halved to HRK 151.7 m, while opex declined at faster pace of 53.9% to HRK 129.5 m due to adjustments in value of inventory. Operating profitability improved significantly, as EBITDA rose to HRK 22.2 m (+222.8% y/y). EBIT rocketed to HRK 14.6 m vs. HRK 0.5 m in Q4 2008. Corresponsive margins improved to 14.6% and 9.6% respectively. Viro share collected minimum turnover.
