Retail trade

This survey covers 1,753 enterprises in September 2008.

Total value of retail trade in September 2008 (VAT including) is 554,288 thousand KM, 11.4% less then in previous month and 19.3% more then in September 2007. The share of enterprises in other activities is 293,731 thousand KM or 53.0% of total retail turnover. Total value (VAT excluded) in September 2008 is 297,248 thousand KM. Value in other activities (VAT excluded) in September 2008 is 74,110 thousand KM.

According to prevailing activity of enterprises greatest value of retail trade in September 2008 realized in following activities: Retail sale in non-specialized stores 95,085 thousand KM or 17.2% in total sale, Retail sale of fuels 70,605 thousand KM or 12.7%, and Other retail sale of new goods in specialized stores 50,456 thousand KM or 9.1%.

According to branches the greatest values of retail trade in September 2008 were in following groups: Non-specialized stores of food in value 158,350 thousand KM or 28.6% of total sale, Automotive fuel 121,929 thousand KM or 22.0%, and Basic metal goods, products for construction, glass 52,971 thousand KM or 9.6%. The share of all other groups in total retail sale was 39.8%.

These data related to enterprises and their units located in Federation B&H.

Business entities of Federation B&H with units located in RS (41 units), in period 1.1. – 30.9. 2008 realized value of retail trade (VAT included) in amount of 194,088 thousand KM.
