The stock market rebounded on Monday, following the green wave in Europe. SOFIX opened with almost 8% increase in very low volumes but some blue chips weakened during the session and weighted on the indices. Bulgarian American credit Bank (5BN: 24.00; +17.06%) erased some of its recent heavy losses in moderate volumes. The bank is still away from previous price levels. Last week 5BN announced consolidated net profit of almost BGN 44 m or increase by 14.6% y-o-y. The Central Depository announced that Gramercy Emergency Markets Fund increased its stake in the bank to up of 15%. Central Cooperative Bank (4CF: 2.20; -3.00%) was the worst performer in the banking sector. Most of the blue chips opened strongly up but couldn’t sustain higher levels due to the large spread between bid and ask offers. Corporate Commercial Bank (6C9: 70.55; +0.79%) hit BGN 78.00 during the session whereas Monbat (5MB: 6.07; +0.68%) was traded at BGN 6.499. The lagers included Sparky Eltos (SL9: 4.20; -12.32%) and M+S Hydraulic (5MH: 5.81; -9.03%).
Euroins (5IC: 4.00; +2.57%) will lead an extraordinary GMS withmain item in the agenda further capital increase. The insurance company plans to raise its capital to almost BGN 12.5 m through issuing 2.5 m new shares with BGN 4.00 issue price per share.
