In September 2008, the total purchase and sale of agricultural, fishing and forestry products amounted to 879 535 395 kuna, out of which the sale from own production of legal entities and parts thereof was 461 299 882 kuna (52.4%) and the purchase from private family farms was 418 235 513 kuna (47.6%).
In September 2008, as compared to September 2007, the total sale and purchase of agricultural, fishing and forestry products increased by 11.7%, where the sale increased by 16.3% and the purchase by 7.0%.
In September 2008 the structure of the total purchase and sale of agricultural, fishing and forestry products, oil seeds contributed with 18.4%, wood in the rough with 15.6%, raw cows' milk with 13.3%, pigs, live, with 8.3%, cattle, live, with 6.4%, plants used for sugar manufacturing with 6.4%, poultry, live with 5.6%, cereals with 4.9%, wine with 4.0%, and unmanufactured tobacco with 3.1%.
Since 2005, data on average producers’ prices of selected agricultural, forestry and fishing products have also been published.
