* Monday, September 1 - Sofia: Bulgaria's Privatisation Agency to sign deal for the sale of 630-megawatt power plant Bobov Dol to local Consortium Energy MK for 100 million levs ($75 million/51 million euro).

* Monday, September 1 - Sofia: Bulgaria’s Economy Ministry holds a news conference on the launch of construction of the Belene nuclear plant and its talks with Austrian steel producer voestalpine Group for building a steel plant in the southeast European region, among others (0930 GMT).

* Monday, September 1 - Sofia: Balkan Property exhibition (BalPEx) and Balkan Real Estate conference (BalREc) hold a news conference on the Bulgarian property market (0800 GMT).

* Monday, September 1 - Sofia: Bulgarian Social Policy Minister Emilia Maslarova to hold a news conference on the ministry's performance since 2005. (0800 GMT).

Saturday, September 6 - Sofia: Right-wing opposition parties to launch a nationwide protest action against the Socialist-led government.

Wednesday, September 10 - Sofia: A tender for the sale of 100% of Bulgarian arms producer NITI to take place.

Monday, September 15 - Sofia: Bulgaria's central bank to auction 15 million lev ($12 million/7.7 million euro) in three-month Treasury bills.

Tuesday, September 16 - Sofia: A conference on the prospects before the capital markets in southeast Europe, organised by the Bulgarian Stock exchange, to take place.

Thursday, September 18 - Sofia: Shareholders of blue-chip Corporate Commercial Bank (Corpbank) to vote on a proposal to pass 2008 dividend. (0800 GMT)

Tuesday, September 23 - Sofia: The Bulgarian Stock exchange to replace seven components of its BG TotalReturn30 (BG TR30) index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight.

Tuesday, September 23 - Sofia: Bulgaria's dominant fixed-line telecoms provider BTC holds a shareholders' meeting to vote on merging its wireless unit BTC Mobile into BTC (0600 GMT).

Tuesday, September 23 - Sofia: The Bulgarian Stock exchange holds an extraordinary shareholders' meeting to discuss management issues (0700 GMT).

Friday, September 26 - Dimitrovgrad: Shareholders of blue-chip chemical fertilisers producer Neochim to vote on a proposal to appoint a representative of Chimimport Group, a subsidiary of blue-chip industrial conglomerate Chimimport, as a management board member (meeting starts 0900 GMT).

Friday, September 26 - Sofia: Creditors of Bulgaria’s largest steel mill, Ispat Industries-owned Kremikovtzi, which a Sofia court has declared insolvent, to hold a meeting.

Monday, September 29 - Sofia: Bulgaria's central bank to auction 30 million lev ($23.9 million/15.3 million euro) in 10-year treasury notes.

Thursday, October 9 - Sofia (Bulgaria): 3rd Balkan Real Estate conference - Bulgaria, organised by Balkan Property exhibition (BalPEx) takes place.

Friday, October 10 - Sofia (Bulgaria): 4th Balkan Property exhibition - BalPEx - Fall 2008 (www.balpex.eu) starts (until October 12).

Friday, October 24 - Sofia: Deadline for placing bids for the heating utility in the northeastern city of Shumen.

Thursday, November 6 - Sofia: Sofia's Municipal Privatisation Agency to auction 65.55% of Municipal Insurance company at a call price of 9.6 million levs.

Tuesday, November 25 - Sofia: Financial and industrial group Eurohold Bulgaria to release consolidated financial results for the third quarter.

Tuesday, November 25 - Sofia: Blue-chip car battery manufacturer MonBat to issue revenue and profit forecast for the last quarter of 2008.
