* Tuesday, March 4 – Sofia: Bulgaria’s President Georgi Parvanov to meet Chairman of Russia’s Council of Federation, Sergei Mironov (0900 GMT).

* Tuesday, March 4 – Sofia: The central bank's Issue Department to release data on its foreign exchange assets as of February 29.

* Wednesday, March 5 – Sofia: Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski to pay a working visit to Bulgaria following an invitation by its Bulgarian counterpart Georgi Parvanov.

Friday, March 7 - Sofia: Last day of subscription period for Bulgarian meat processor Mekom initial public offering, in which the company hopes to raise some 23.5 million levs ($17.5 million/12 million euro) for capacity expansion and investments abroad.

* Monday, March 10 – Sofia: The central bank's Issue Department to release data on its foreign exchange assets as of March 7.

* Monday, March 10 – Sofia: Bulgarian Finance Ministry to issue February public debt data.

Thursday, March 20 - Veliko Tarnovo: Syringe manufacturer Momina Krepost holds an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting to vote on a proposed six fold increase of the company's share capital to some 1.69 million levs ($1.27million/865,000 euro) via capitalisation of reserves (1130 GMT).

* Monday, March 24 – Sofia: The central bank's Issue Department to release data on its foreign exchange assets as of March 21.

* Wednesday, March 26 – Sofia: Bulgaria’s central bank to release January gross foreign debt data (1200 GMT).

Monday, April 14 – Sofia: Shareholders in Bulgaria’s dominant fixed-line phone operator BTC to vote on paying 2007 dividend of 1.59 levs ($1.23 /0.81 euro) per share.

Tuesday, April 15 - Sofia: The second regional conference Balkan Real Estate conference, organised by Balkan Property exhibition (BalPEx), opens. (to April 16) ( www.balrec.eu )
