Orgachim AD-Ruse /5ORG/ has submitted to X3 news the following information:
"Orgachim JSC makes up for the delay compared to last year as a consequence of long winter:
Although the three months of heavy winter Orgachim succeeds in making up for the delay in the amount of the operating profit compared to last year. The incomes from sales of ready products as of 31.07.2008 increased to BGN 76,707 thousand in comparison with BGN 62,519 thousand for the same period last year. The incomes from sales of ready products for July 2008 increased with 23% to BGN 14,500 thousand compared to BGN 11,800 thousand for July 2007. On the background of the increased incomes from sales the administrative costs for July 2008 increased only by 6%.
The increase of the prices of the raw-materials lead to the decrease of EBITDA with 4% only compared with July 2007.
The gross margin increased with BGN 1,5 million or with 9% due to the increase of the effectiveness of the production and the investments in new energy saving equipments. As of 31.07.2008 the gross margin for the paints and resins sector increased with 32% to BGN 21,621 thousand in comparison with BGN 16,365 thousand as of 31.07.2007 as only for July 2008 the gross margin increased with BGN 1,400 thousand reaching BGN 4,391 thousand.
Having in mind the fact that last year we generated a single income from the payment of the obligations under ZUNK at the amount of BGN 2,111 thousand and the increased depreciation costs (BGN 1,110 thousand as a consequence of the reassessment done in the company) the profit before tax is behind only with BGN 650 thousand in comparison with July 2007.
The structure of the receivables and payables is kept the same despite of the increased net incomes from sales with 20% which is a positive sign for improved cash flows."
