


































Bulgarian Advance Equity Holding has acquired the networks of Sofia-based Internet services providers Relef Net and Ava Computer Products through its subsidiary Speedy Net, Dnevnik daily reported on March 27, 2008.
The deal will boost Speedy Net subscribers by 1,200 to 6,000 and add some 30,000 Bulgarian levs ($24,230/15,340 euro) a month to the company’s revenue, Advance Equity Holding said.
The equity fund controls 50 pct of Speedy Net after it participated in its capital increase.
Speedy has own fibre-optic backbone in Sofia and direct connection to all big Internet providers in Bulgaria.
It plans to launch new services for end users such as voice and digital TV.
Speedy Net is one of the first LAN operators in Bulgaria to use Cisco Systems solution for network management and control.
