SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), November 7 (SeeNews) – Bosnia has agreed a 30 million euro ($38.4 million) soft loan from the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) to be used for road construction, a Bosnian daily reported on Friday.
The loan was agreed between Bosnian presidency member Haris Silajdzic and the Kuwaiti Prime Minister Nasser Al-Sabah during Silajdzic’s recent visit to the Arab country, daily newspaper Nezavisne Novine reported.
The money will be used to build a section either on the road connecting the Bosnian capital Sarajevo and the northern town of Tuzla or along the European Union defined Corridor Vc that passes north-to south through Bosnia, Nezavisne said.
KFAED, commonly known as the Kuwait Fund, is the country’s state agency for financial and technical assistance to developing countries.
