- The market capitalization of the official market segment on 14.12.2009 valued MKD 40,965,215,070, EUR 669,694,540.95. The total trades number was 151.
- The largest producer of steel in the world, Arcelor Mittal next year could dismiss nearly 10,000 people. The goal of this step is to optimize productivity and to reduce costs, according to the notice of the company. With this step, Arcelor Mittal wants to save up to $500 million. The total number of employees in the steel giant is 285,300 workers. Arcelor Mittal owns two company in Macedonia: Arcelor Mital Skopje (CRM) (ticker: RZLV) and Arcelor Mital Skopje (HRM) (ticker: RZLE).
- Macedonian Telecom and T-Mobile (ticker: TEL)announced investments in new technologies for 2010. Boards of Directors of the Macedonian Telecom AD - Skopje and the T-Mobile Macedonia on today's meeting adopted the annual Business plans for companies for next year. The plans of both companies provide investment in new technologies that will contribute to strengthen the leading position in the market and investing in additional services to ensure competitiveness in the market and meet the needs and demands of consumers.
