May 10 (SeeNews) - Croatia's financial regulator, Hanfa, said it has granted approval to holding company Volkswagen International Luxemburg S.A. to indirectly acquire 100% of Croatian financial leasing company Scania Credit Hrvatska.
The planned acquisition has to be completed within six months, Hanfa said in a notice published on its website following a meeting of its management council held on April 30. It did not disclose the value of the deal.

According to data from the Croatian court registry, Scania Credit Hrvatska has been founded by Swedish company Traton Financial Services Aktiebolag.
Scania Credit Hrvatska reported a revenue of 1.8 million euro ($1.9 million) in 2022, down from 2.0 million in 2021, according to the most recent data by consultancy Finance Analytics - Dun & Bradstreet.
