March 28 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] said on Thursday that it bought back some 1.75 million of its own shares at an average price of roughly 1.70 levs ($0.94/0.87 euro) apiece on March 27 as part of its ongoing share repurchase programme.
The own shares held by Gradus as of March 27 totalled 5,897,130, representing 2.42% of voting rights, the company said in a stock exchange filing.

The poultry producer initiated the share repurchase programme last January, targeting up to 3% of its equity capital, represented by 7,308,261 shares.
As of 1149 CET on Thursday, shares in Gradus traded 5.88% lower at 1.60 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
