April 30 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's NLB Banka Sarajevo [SAJ:TZLBRK2], owned by Slovenia's Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), said on Tuesday that its net profit grew 47.2% on the year in the first quarter of 2024, reaching 8.6 million marka ($4.7 million/4.4 million euro).
Net interest income rose 27.3% year-on-year to 14 million marka in January-March, while net fee and commission income increased 9.6% to 6 million marka, the bank said in a filing with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
NLB Banka is based in Sarajevo, in the Federation entity.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is made up of two autonomous entities - the Federation and the Serb Republic. NLB has another subsidiary in Bosnia, NLB Razvojna Banka, which is based in the Serb Republic.
