April 26 (SeeNews) - Air Montenegro said on Friday that it has cancelled flights from Podgorica to Tel Aviv, in Israel, citing an analysis of the current geopolitical situation and risk assessment in the conflict zone.
"The safety of passengers and crew members is our absolute priority. In this regard, the complex geopolitical situation in Israel and the region, as well as its unpredictability, negatively affect the continuity of flights to Tel Aviv. Because of this, we were forced to cancel the planned flights," said CEO Mark Anzur.
"We sincerely hope for a quick calming of the geopolitical tension and favorable conditions for the continuation of our flights. We will respond to any positive change with satisfaction and adequately," said Anzur.
