The Ljubljana Stock Exchange Inc. (LJSE) is owned by its members. LSE membership is not limited. LJSE had 24 members at the end of 2006. LJSE operations and the entire securities market are supervised by Securities Market Agency (SMA). The LJSE market consists of the Official Market and the Semi-Official Market. In a move to promote the leading Slovenian issuers to the international investors the bourse created the Prime Market within the Official Market. The issuers on the Prime Market have to fulfill a number of criteria, including minimum liquidity and market capitalisation requirements and adoption of international transparency standards. Official Trading Hours: 09:30-13:00 Main Indices: Slovene Stock Exchange Index (SBI 20), Slovene Blue Chip Index (SBI TOP), Investment Fund Index (PIX), Bonds Index (BIO). Instruments Traded: Ordinary and preferred shares, open-end and closed-end investment funds, ETF, T-bills, and corporate, government and municipal bonds.
