Organised since 1998, the CEI Summit Economic Forum is a regional event unique by scale and importance. It takes place each November on the occasion of the annual CEI Summit of the Heads of Government, always in a different CEI member country –the one that is holding the CEI Presidency.
The CEI Summit Economic Forum gathers participants coming from a wide range of structures both from the CEI region and beyond. Government officials, industry leaders, businessmen, entrepreneurs, investors, financial institutions, international organisations, investment and trade promotion agencies, representatives of local authorities, bankers, fund managers and business service providers all meet for a common goal: search for tangible opportunities for investment and growth in the CEI Member Countries.
Therefore, the CEI Summit Economic Forum is a platform where feasible business ideas are discussed, investment opportunities examined, trade partnerships established, co-operation agreements made. It is the place where you can offer your goods or services or search for them; where you can present your project ideas; establish many important contacts and find business partners.
The Forum also offers an opportunity to personally meet policy makers and to discuss common institutional bottlenecks and possible ways to overcome them. A particular advantage is that these top level officials from several countries are all together in one place and time.
Finally, the CEI Summit Economic Forum is definitely a unique "from contact to contract" event in Central Europe. It is considered a must by a large number of participants belonging to groups, associations, committees, etc., which cooperate throughout the year and use the Forum as their regular meeting place.
