March 20 (SeeNews) - Outgoing traffic from mobile telephony networks in Slovenia decreased by 3.6% year-on-year in 2023 to 4.96 billion minutes, the country’s statistical office said on Wednesday.
There were some 2.73 million mobile network users in the country at the end of December, up 2.1% on an annual basis, the office said in a statement.
The outgoing voice traffic from fixed networks, including national and international outgoing fixed traffic, decreased by 15.1% last year to some 239.3 million minutes.
At the end of December, there were 682,888 broadband internet connections, up by 0.9% compared to end-December 2022.
A total of 2.067 billion SMS messages were sent in 2023, down 8.1%.
Slovenia has a population of 2.1 million.
