April 12 (SeeNews) - U.S.-based luxury hotel, dining and residence brand Nobu Hospitality is developing two properties in Bulgaria - in the capital Sofia and the coastal city of Varna - that are set to make a significant mark in the Balkans, it said on Friday.
The properties are owned by real estate investor BSPF Bulgaria, part of Isle of Man-registered Black Sea Property, and local hotel operator GHV-Dolphins, Nobu Hospitality said in a press release.
The brand's first hotel and restaurant will be located in central Sofia, while the second one will be situated on the Black Sea waterfront in Varna.
Founded in 1994 by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper, Nobu Hospitality opened its first hotel in 2013, in Las Vegas, according to its LinkedIn profile. Since then, the brand's portfolio has expanded to include 38 hotels and 12 residence projects worldwide.
