April 29 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's Stopanska Banka Bitola [MSE:SBT] said that its net loss slightly increased to 51.7 million denars ($899,748/839,642 euro) in the first quarter of 2024 from 51.5 million denars in the same period a year before.
Net interest income edged down 2.4% on the year to 107.7 million denars, while net fee and commission income dropped 9.1% to 31.5 million denars in the January-March period, the bank said in a financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse on Friday.
Net financial asset impairment losses increased to 94.4 million denars in the first quarter of 2024 from 86.8 million denars in the like period a year before.
Stopanska Banka Bitola's assets increased to 11.7 billion denars at the end of March from 11.1 billion denars at the end of 2023.
Loans and advances to customers other than banks were lower at 1.5 billion denars at the end of March compared with 1.7 billion denars at the end of last year, while deposits from customers other than banks rose to 9.7 billion denars from 9.1 billion denars.
Stopanska Banka Bitola's shares traded at an average price of 2,987 denars on the Skopje bourse Friday, the latest available bourse data showed.
