April 26 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 7,251.14 points on Friday, some 2.2% higher compared with its closing value of 7,094.61 points on April 19, as trading turnover increased, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 80.5 million denars ($1.4 million/1.3 million euro) in four trading sessions this week from 53.6 million denars in five trading sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on April 24 due to elections.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the most to the trading turnover on the MSE this week, as 1,810 of the lender's shares changed hands in 109 transactions worth a total of 32.5 million denars.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 124.88 points on April 26, unchanged compared to the closing value a week earlier.
