March 26 (SeeNews) - Gross written premiums (GWPs) of insurance companies operating in Kosovo in the first two months of 2024 increased to 27 million euro ($29 million), up from 21.9 million euro in the same period a year earlier, central bank data showed.
The combined net profit of Kosovo insurers surged to 5.5 million euro at the end of February, up 38% from a year earlier, the central bank said in a monthly figures report on Monday.
The assets held by Kosovo insurance companies increased to 312.7 million euro at the end of February, up from 270.7 million euro at the end of the same month in 2023.
