April 19 (SeeNews) - German automobile parts manufacturer Mubea intends to start production in Bosnia and Herzegovina's Derventa in early 2025, local media reported.
The company plans to invest approximately 38 million euro ($40.5 million) in its Bosnia operations by 2032, aiming to employ around 1,000 people, news portal Biznis Info reported on Thursday, citing Christian Carius, head of corporate development at Mubea, as saying.
Mubea already has a registered unit in Bosnia which has 90 employees.
Set up in 1916, Mubea is a specialist for high-strength spring components and related products.
