February 29 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Serbia in January rose 11% year-on-year, reaching 122,912, the statistical office said on Thursday.
North Macedonia was Serbia's biggest feeder market in January with 14,076 tourists, up 36% on the year. Visitors from Russia followed with 13,490, down 7% on the year. Visitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina came in third, up 11% to 10,368.
The number of domestic tourists decreased by 6% on the year in January, to 125,772.
