April 12 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to North Macedonia totalled 26,967 in February, up 10% compared with the same month a year earlier, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in North Macedonia rose 4.1% year-on-year to 49,415 in February, Makstat said in a statement.
Out of the total number of foreign tourists who visited North Macedonia in February, 18.9% came from Turkey, 12.8% from Serbia and 9.9% from Greece.
Domestic tourists numbered 17,257 in February, up 4.9% compared with the like month the year before, as they spent 39,947 overnights, up 12.7% on the year.
