April 29 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in March totalled 45,256, up 4.8% compared with the same month a year earlier, according to figures released by the entity's statistical office on Monday.
Foreign tourists spent 90,815 overnights in the Federation in March, an annual increase of 6.9%, the Federation's statistical office said in a monthly report.
The total number of tourists who visited the Federation in March was 67,315, up 2.1% on the year. Total tourist overnights increased 3.1% on the year to 129,408 last month.
In March the most foreign visitors to the Federation came from Croatia (11,305), followed by tourists from Serbia (4,527) and Turkey (3,848).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
