April 29 (SeeNews) - Croatian hotel operator Plava Laguna [ZSE:PLAG, PLAG2] said it will propose to its shareholders to distribute a gross dividend of 15 euro ($16.07) per ordinary share and 15.03 euro per preferred share out of its net profit for 2023.
Out of the company’s net profit of 44.4 million euro reported for last year, 39.2 million euro will be paid out as dividend on ordinary shares, 12,600 euro will be paid as dividend on preferred shares, and the remaining almost 5.2 euro will be allocated to retained profit, Plava Laguna said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse on Friday.
Last year, it paid out a gross dividend of 11.19 euro ($12.19) per ordinary share and 11.22 euro per preferred share out of its net profit for 2022.
Plava Laguna's ordinary shares last traded on April 26 on the Zagreb bourse, when they closed 3.31% higher at 374 euro.
The preferred shares are also listed on the Zagreb bourse but have not traded in the last 52 weeks.
