April 10 (SeeNews) - Croatian state-owned telecommunications services provider Odasiljaci i Veze (OiV) said on Wednesday it has merged with another state-owned company, Pomorski Centar Za Elektroniku (PCE), expanding its services to marine electronics and communications.
On April 8, 2024, the commercial court in Zagreb finalised the registration changes, officially completing the merger, OiV said in a press release. The deal between OiV and PCE was signed on March 26.

OiV said the deal will lead to synergies and lower costs.
Established in 1992 by the Croatian government, Split-based PCE specialises in the maintenance of maritime waterways and radio services. It was originally tasked with technical maintenance and development of electronic devices and systems, serving both the Croatian army and the non-defence market.
