March 1 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A], operating under the brand name Mtel, said on Friday it has absorbed local subsidiary Trion Tel.
The District Commercial Court in Banja Luka has registered the merger through absorption, the telco said in a bourse filing.

Telekom Srpske acquired Trion Tel in August. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
Telekom Srpske, majority-owned by Telekom Srbija, has clients mainly in the Serb Republic entity, which forms Bosnia and Herzegovina together with the Federation entity.
Telekom Srpske's shares ended 3.23% higher at 1.28 marka ($0.71/0.65 euro) on the Banja Luka bourse on Friday.
Bosnia, a country of some 3.5 million people, has two more major telecommunication companies, both state-controlled - HT Mostar and BH Telecom.
