April 19 (SeeNews) - Albanian debt collection firm Albase will sell the 66% stake of local diverse services provider Halili in football club KF Tirana at an auction to be held on to April 22, local media reported on Friday.
Halili’s shares, which have been frozen due to unpaid debt to third parties, will be offered at a minimum bid of 161.7 million leks ($1.7 million/1.6 million euro), local news provider Panorama said.

Interested parties must directly contact the debt collector via email, the report reads.
Halili, ownded by businessman Refik Halili, is a long-standing sponsor of the football team. The company became the club’s first private owner in 2014, when the municipality of Tirana sold a majority stake as part of the club’s restructuring plan. In 2019, the club recorded a net profit of 57.6 million leks, latest available figures on the country’s business register show.
Private debt collectors issued a freeze order for Halili’s shares in KF Tirana in March.
KF Tirana is one of the three professional football clubs based in Tirana. Its men's football club is one of the most successful in Albanian sports, with around 54 domestic trophies.
Halili was established in 1994. It engages in construction, pharmaceuticals, and retail trade. Several assets of the company have been frozen recently, due to failure to pay debts, documents in the business register show.
